I usually don't wear classic shoes, but I liked a pair of Lloyds and bought them.
These guys:

However, I'm completely confused by their size chart.
I usually wear 44-46 EU, which corresponds to 9.5-11 UK according to the LLoyd chart.
However, after trying several sizes, the 8.5 shoes fit me the best. According to the Lloyd chart, it's way below my usual size. They feel a bit tight in the widest part of the foot and near the laces, but there's still quite some space between the tip of my longest toe and the end of the shoe.
Now I'm afraid I've bought too small shoes and don't know how to check.
Any advice?
