Options;
a crisp white shirt and linen pocket square

I like spread or cutaway collars, not BD with linen. I'm not a fan of oxford cloth with linen either. I like the contrast of the linen texture against a poplin cotton material. I also have a white linen Kiton shirt in a very fine weave that looks great with linen. But for some reason oxford cloth doesn't look right to me.
Since the overall look will be light and creamy, a white linen pocket square with a colored border is nice. I have several and they work well with lighter linen jackets to add just a touch of color.
