Hmmmm can I soak several pairs at the same time? Lets say classic and knight together? Then leave one in while I wear the first for half an hour, hang to dry, and put the other on?

Or are the colors going to get absorbed and mixed?

Yeah, I wouldn't do that...This is from my hot soak with 501s

I don't really like the new 501stf fit, too skinny in the leg, but I tried on a non-stf 501 and it was terrible, they're lowered the rise by like 2".

I used to just get a pair of stf, and wear w/o any wash or soak for as long as possible, though sometimes it's fun to size up a bit and wear them baggier.

not really, Spread it out over 4 days certainly...Just don't forget some ice water. I thought I was gonna pass out. I just sat in and read a People and sweated for 45 minutes. You don't have to wear them in the tub. Just put them on before they dry if you're worried about the waist shrinkage.

What I really like about them is that the inseam shrinks to my perfect fit, just long enough to where I can cuff them with hightops or boots, yet short enough to wear with sleek lowtops and stacked. I almost always have to get pants hemmed, these I don't. If these were selvedge Id wear nothing else. I want a pair of LVC 1947 really...But these will suffice.

In about 2 months Im gonna wash the pair ive been working on for the last 3 months. Hopefully Ill get some cool contrast.

When did Levi change their fit exactly? Cause i have a pair of 501 i bought a year and a half ago and they fit me pretty damn relaxed...

Alright, so I just purchased some 501s but I can't receive them until my birthday on Monday. This may be a stupid question but I was wondering how can you determine if they're STFs? Will it say it on the pocket-tag? And if they're just regular 501s, should I still use them in a hot bath or is there any other methods to getting a better fit? Thanks to whoever responds.

Would anyone be able to provide measurements of the new fit? I can post old measurements for comparison.
