yah, full retail for rick ones are pretty ridiculous. However, I dunno which is better quality wise since there are so many different ones. Oiled calf, blistered lamb, and lamb leather are the ones I particularly like. All I know is from what I've read MA julius is inferior quality to both, but that's to be expected cuz the price point is different.
while some washed lamb feels really thin.
what's sz 1,2,3 in japanese clothing? i assume s,m,l? my robert geller rider is a sz 46 and it fits pretty snug. it's beginning to form to my body better and not as tight.
Construction seems pretty consistent with the leather but the leather quality does varies. The oiled calf is just unbelievable, almost worth it's retail price, while some washed lamb feels really thin.
i should also add, while my blistered lamb does feel a little thin, the attention towards the distressing is pretty amazing.
It depends on what you want, honestly. I'm pretty happy at this point switching between a calf DR and a (thin) lambskin intarsia depending on how I feel
