Hello, I am brand new to this site and the whole "bespoke" community. However, I will be visiting Kuala Lumpur and Singapore within the next few weeks. I really would like to get a nice suit and some shirts and thought I might be able to get some help. First of all, knowing I am eventually going to be going to Singapore, would you recommend I hold off and not get anything in Kuala Lumpur? Secondly, I saw that a lot of people recommend Ah Loke in Kuala Lumpur. Any other recommendations? What about for Singapore?I will be in KL for about 4 days and then Singapore for 6. Any guidance you could provide for my first bespoke experience would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Get it done in Singapore instead. Search for Iris Tailor. They're leagues ahead of whatever KL can offer.

Iris Tailor...any other names out there you would recommend? I have been reading posts here about KL and Singapore...the one about Ah Loke seemed to say that their "folding" style for the back of the arms is less than ideal...how is the fabric in Singapore and KL? Would 6 days be long enough to get a suit made in Singapore? As you can see, I am just trying to figure out where and how best to go about this. Thanks for all of the help!
