People commenting on Kapital's marketing at this point hasn't seen their past work. I used to hate walking into he Osaka stock room when there was a giant photo/poster of a what could only be described as "sex on a car" poster they used for a Kountry look book years ago.

Not to mention any of the random penis pics, or weird polaroid pornographic *********** dressing rooms of the older stores; duffle, legs, and Kojima... I think most people feel Kapital is so "extreme" is that the other "denim brands" out there are so boring you couldn't tell one from the other without looking at the tags... not that I applaud this sort of annoying disruptive "marketing" TBH its 99% posturing company wise, such a boring typical "black-kigyo" company its funny that people actually fall for the image they put out there.

Ooo ****, you said it, black kigyou. Damn I didn't expect Kapital to be one but at the same time it's hard to find a company in Japan that isn't one. I often feel like the best way to live here is to make your own way.

Low wages, and long working hours and unreasonable requests is every retail workers struggle. In Japan there isn't even a decent employee discount, or commission sales. Smaller companies ( only example I can think of at the moment is Porter Classic) who treat their employees like family are super rare. Black Kigyo is standard here... its still mind boggling to me that people making 800-900 JPY an hour (or 18k a year net for full time) give reliable service.

Sincere or not, it really wild that just two words get people to call for nuclear bombing Japan etc. I mean if people said free Texas, I feel no one would give a ****. Maybe they would dunno I guess.

What's black kigyo and what does it have to do with Kapital?

Black Company, it's basically a term for companies that have bad work environments. It could be all combination of things, low pay, bad management, no advancement opportunities, sexual harassment, power harassment, long work hours, no paid overtime, forced afterwork drinking parties. All sorts of things, labor laws in Japan have certainly gotten better but getting some companies to comply is pretty damn hard.

I mean it's like, they had to know free Tibet is super loaded when it comes to mainlanders. I don't know if it's a vocal minority or it's everyone but this was gonna be the outcome either way.

The comments on that instagram post were ridiculous. Here I am always complaining about how bad propaganda in the US is, but China has it perfected to a different level, especially when it comes to Tibet.

Pretty sad they removed it because I was 100% in on getting a bunch of Free Tibet gear. Even if it was disingenuous on Kapital's part, it isn't on mine. Pretty terrible how most of the world has just forgotten about the genocide going on there, or just given up and letting China do it. And then the posts on instagram were worse than trump supporters.
