@Texasmade Still looking strong. They just need a bit of a sole edge treatment. I find this to be the issue on my mostly worn shoes as well. Not sure how I should treat them. The products like Saphir Teinture or Renovatrice seems a bit invasive to begin with. Also, not sure if I can just use the regular Saphir colour creme to match the sole colour and mask the wear marks .. The additional trouble is that some of my sole edges seems to have a nice shade of deep dark brown colour, and it's hard to match it again.

I should probably start thinking about a reconditioning. Middle of the sole has a soft spot.

I had a couple of Chapels resoled and stretched recently. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the job and the attention to detail. I'll post pics soon. I used the NYC JL store, and have only had pleasant experiences there.

Heads up. 3% price increase on John Lobb (Paris) from October 1st.

Hey Patrik, if I wanted to use the Lobb stock service to order a pair of chapels in black, do I pay a higher price than the Lobbs you have in stock?

4th pair of Harlyns in the wild... used to love Dovers but JLs split toe is even better IMO

maybe pester the factory store. Possible there may be a floor sample hidden somewhere. Worked for me.

Not very likely, but like others have said there may be a floor sample or something like that hidden away somewhere. If not, then there's used on eBay.

Also Antonio Meccariello makes a version for around the same price. Of course the styling is slightly different and the lasts and finishing will be different, but his shoes are excellent.
