He asked if he purchased now, while not on sale, whether they'd adjust when the sale goes live. According to the policy above, they won't.
Their policy is basically saying they will only adjust prices if you purchased during the sale.

ah good call, I keep forgetting we're a day early on the official sale.

Copped the indigo x black tie dye socks ?

Im thinking of copping this!

And I’d like to know about price adjustments as well! That’ll definitely make a difference. I don’t mind holding out though and if it’s sold out, then more money in my pocket.

Onyx run big. Carbon will stretch, so it really just depends how you like your denim to fit. I am a 32/33 in Denim, but always go 32 in JE because of the waist. Also, I prefer the slightly more snug lower leg for the stacks of the 32. It’s only .1-2 in measurement per the JE site, but it’s more noticeable than that.
Any idea how carbon fit as compared to washed graphite? The WG def fit ran smaller than my onyx and vintage spring but ended up stretching out to fit me perfectly whereas the other two pair of denim are looser than I’d prefer.

I wouldn’t compare Onyx to any of the other cast 2’s. They’re initially looser than other cast 2’s and the denim they used stretches out. I tried a size down from my usual cast 2 size as well and couldn’t get them past my thigh.

Carbon are stretchy, feel thinner, and not as skinny as washed graphite. Get your usual cast 2 size.

For all considering new Cast 1, you might need 2 sizes down from TTS.
My TTS is 32 and for comparison:
Cast 2 obsidian, skittles, raw graphite: 32
Cast 2 canyon: 31
Cast 1 shale: 30

that would pretty much negate the purpose of the idea of the Cast 1.

Disagree, look at the size chart. Even going down two sizes the Cast 1 is bigger, especially looking at the knee area. The others in terms of hem and thigh, only slightly bigger compared to the Cast 2. But as we know, even .2” makes a difference.

Wish JE would have given the ‘Cast 2 recut’ a different number such as 2.5 or 3. I’d imagine other retails still have original Cast 2 cuts still in stock/circulation but there’s no way to tell a difference unless you order multiple sizes
