Haha! These are probably the slimmest JE denim I’ve tried. Dillon indigo were up there too. But the fit is weird on these. Waist is loose and the rest is slim.

i'm a shorty too, and haven't hemmed. i want to hem my obsidians, but think my carbons are fine
agree with some folks here - the tighter the jeans the less you need to hem them because the stacks stay in place

It really depends on the look your going for, dress belt can work for both, or you can get a thick leather belt if your going to have your shirt over. I'd say just go to a store that has different sizes of belts and see which size you like.

Oh yeah definitely agree with this, tightness of denim matters. I have bigger legs, my awesome Filipino jeans so Cast 2's fit pretty snug on my thighs and especially my calfs so stacks stay in place.

Looks like it has a pocket on each side of the chest, not sure if they're useable but they're there.
