@Patek @OccultaVexillum where are you guys based? Usually know of European retailers with promos. Few guys on ebay occasionally. Let me check that list @OccultaVexillum and I'll come back to you.

Not too sure on the US. If you also try Eric at 1269, which is where Regis usually goes, and I have used before, he may be able to help. He is Florida based, but does mark down shipping.

Pics on your face please so I can get a better idea on the size of those Fellini.

Can do if you want. May need to do it tomorrow. This is from 1269, if it helps.

@Hanto Thank you man!
I am in the US (upstate NY Area) but only for another 45-60 days and then I'm moving back home to Australia (as long as my flight isn't cancelled).

I looked up their site. They have a few more fit pics but their prices are the same. At least if buying from JMM they have free returns and pay the return shipping.

Also, an irritating thing on their site is that it doesn't tell you which picture is associated with which color so you have to guess.

I imagine most of the cost is a result of them being extremely limited in terms of production numbers. Each frame is limited to a run of 50 to 500, possibly by design (to seem exclusive) and possibly a function of the market (not that many people are going to wear bold frames). Lower production numbers -> higher cost per unit -> higher retail price.

Surely the marketing (which includes the incredible packaging) accounts for a hefty portion of the cost. Additionally, does anyone know what margin is? I don't really care what the answer is, but I'm guessing that the swagger of JMM extends beyond just the styling.

Has anybody tried the Yves?
Way too much frame for me.
my absolute fav is the last frontier sante fe- shape, and size wise fits my heed, prob even better than my Fitzgeralds. but it’s $$$ and sold out anyway. Anyone know if jmm makes the sante fe shape outside of last frontier collection?

It kind of just delayed it. We listed our house for sale about 2 weeks before everything shut down, but luckily got a cash offer pretty quickly with a video / e-tour. So we would have moved probably in May if it wasn’t for Covid. Since I’m a citizen I can actually go home but the Australian borders are still closed to non-citizens, but it’s very hard to get flights and there’s no guarantees they won’t just cancel at the last minute. ?

Got it. Glad you were able to sell quickly but that definitely sounds like a pain. I briefly had it in mind that I would be able to travel abroad next month. Then the rest of the country decided to show us how much they f-ed up.

Damn so you've had to rent a place for a while since you sold your house? Yea it's probably good that you held off. My friend's wife (stay at home) and kids went to visit his mom in Italy in February right before they shut everything down. He was supposed to fly out a couple weeks later but Italy closed everything and he hasn't seen his family since. He's keeps booking flights over but they keep getting cancelled because not enough passengers.

His wife didn't want to fly back with 2 kids by herself because of COVID and it's too hard to keep a handle on both of them. It's like he's single again.
