1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Is the Thom Browne stuff on GG today a good example of his style?

I was referring to "bump" as in you started a thread that pushed every one else's down and the fact as a "joke" everyone chimes in, keeping it at the top while real sales threads remain below yours. It's not really here nor there. My point is, sometimes you'll get positive comments or heat from people. That's the way it goes. It just seems you are particulary sensitive when it isn't all positive.
I am not sensitive. It bugs me when people post critiques that are simple replies like "that's terrible, lol" without giving any suggestions. The heat I can take just fine.

Would you like me to buy you a plane ticket to the Bay Area, so you can literally get on my nuts, since you're obviously already figuratively on them?

    Moo,
thanks for that. It's the funniest thing I've read today.
    Cheers,

Yes for a nun look...I remember when this look came out that is what had drawn me to it. It looks much better toned down with black footwear than the white.

I like a lot of the suits and shirts, but sadly can't afford them for maybe another 10 years when I get a better paying job. But I can't imagine how they sold out of that skirt suit thing.

I liked a lot of the shoes.

I usually pass on most of the Gilt stuff, but those saddle oxfords made me wish I camped out at my computer all day.

Will the skirt be worn like a kilt, sans underroos?

That's what I'm doing at the moment. Of course, I'm at home and wearing one of these.

For the record, most of the Thom Browne shoes on sale yesterday were gorgeous. Including the pair of suede boots SoCal brought. I wouldn't mind having those.
