That sounds like fun. Maybe all of the people who have posted in this thread about getting a consulting should be the candidates.

Is Mens Image Consultant game for it?

No. But I do portrait painting in condiments, and I can try scanning before and after self-portraits. They need to dry for a while or else there is a lot of cleanup between scans.

I think the ebb and flow of the WAYWT threads is interesting... streetwear's (and superfuture's) seems to have slowed down some of late, but men's clothing's has more pics than ever. /tangent

Almost definitely not

It's been thought of before and instinctively rejected.

Any public Before-and-After would need "approval" from those who subscribe to the "collective style," whether the style suits the person or not. Also, unfortunately, consultations online only lead a horse to water. Presentation and implementation are up to the client (and, in fact, instructions are better thought of as guidelines usually to be carried out a long period of time.). Also, the business exists to serve the type of person who has much reason to change and little idea of how to change, probably not someone inclined toward the collective style. Maybe with somebody who was "clueless" not long ago and now has a fairly normal, adequate style (with preferences that aren't widely known to the forum or stereotypical of any sub-forum or genre) and owns some remnants (and pictures) of the old look, i.e., seeing how well consultation advice matches what was implemented.

It wouldn't be a big deal to offer a newbie a report that could be placed on the website, in exchange for later interrogation of the experience for possible use in a testomonial, perhaps. Without Before pictures, though, that doesn't demonstrate much.

If not for free then, he charges $40 for to provide chock-full of insights like these: http://www.mensimageconsultant.com/evaluation.aspx We should all chip in to get someone "The Official StyleForum mensimageconsultant $40 Makeover". Someone start a poll or a thread so suitable candidates be identified.

He may not be on Styleforum, but how about the kid from Fedora Lounge in The Hoff's avatar?

I'll put in $40 for that kid.
