I apologize for sounding like I was grilling him, we have talked and I know his intentions were good, perhaps the wording could have been chosen more carefully but that's neither here nor there. I didn't think my reply was offensive and perhaps Charlie will concur but if it came off that way, I do apologize. I'm very open to questions and am usually quick to respond, the last few weeks have been extremely stressful, not an excuse for neglecting the support, suggestions, and potential business so I will again apologize. I'm working on it

I am a bit surprised to see everyone giving Dave a Selling Shoes 101 lesson unsolicited. He is a guy who is held in the highest regard around here in his previous incarnation as a second hand and NOS shoe seller. In fact he was the best operator unhung IMHO. He has chosen to go out and create a new business and I am pretty sure (from testimonials so far) that everyone is pretty impressed. If you impress Spoo you are up there with the best.

I am sure Dave has any problem in hand and, as an ethical person, he gives a good deal. Most of these "helpful" suggestions could have been dealt with by way of PM. That is how I have communicated with him so far successfully.

Gratuitous advice no matter how well meant from other SF sponsors is uncalled for IMO.
