Hi everyone, my name is Loz, love Pork Pie Hats, have one from Art Fawcett, and two from Black Sheep Hatworks, hence my username... I've never felt comfortable in a suit, until this year... had to get suited and booted for a dinner at The Ritz, so my wife found a Ted Baker jacket for an outrageously good price.. tried it on, and BOOM! my god, I looked sharp... that was it, the bug was caught... my style is very much a jazz musician style, so my hope is an Edward Sexton DB in the near future...

Greetings, all. I've been studying this forum for some time, after being recommended to it by a famous novelist, who's also famously well-dressed. He insisted that I lurk here rigorously before ordering my first MTM suit.

Okay, that I've done. Meaning -- since my education was on this site -- it will be entirely your fault if my suit, which I picked up today from Lanieri in Rome, hasn't turn out perfectly. (Actually, you don't need to worry. I think they did a superb job. I'll post photos in the Lanieri thread -- hope you agree with my assessment.)

Until recently I knew nothing about tailoring. Zilch. I've collected vintage fedoras for decades, however, so I have some idea how to work up an obsession, to become increasingly vain, and to spend money that I don't have.
