I'd go see this tonight if I didn't know the theater would be packed.

Were they? Looked like a pretty straightforward mix of contemporary fashion and some throw back looks. I was pleased to recognize some Maison Martin Margiela and Dries Van Noten. Will definitely pay closer attention on a second watch though.

going to see it tonight (someone else planned for it, just checked what it was). Not my kind of movie I'm afraid and the dark knight sucked ass.

Just keep your mind open, I didn't find it to be like TDK very much,

I enjoyed the costumes very much. A lot of well fitted DB suits and a couple of 3 pieces in the mix. I liked Joseph Gordon Levitt's outfit when he was giving Ellen Page the pointers, the one with the light gray jacket, though the shoulders could have been softer.

I don't think this is a mischaracterization -- I suppose it just made more of an impression on me. I felt like the combination of modern cuts, somber color palettes and careful choices of more dated details were very effective in creating that near-future aesthetic. Ken Watanabe's outfit in the opening scene (not as an old man) was a real standout.

come on^

not everyone that posts in this thread has seen it yet.

I liked the fits on Joe Levitt, and a lot of DiCaprio's stuff was good.

I actually thought of Fuuma when I saw a fit on the one Mimic guy. He had a sort of floral or print shirt spread and was rocking a suit.

Great ******* movie. Everyone in the theatre was completely drawn in. I don't think I heard anyone even speak during it. I think it's one of my favourite movies of all time.

To see what people are saying about it to see if it's worth seeing.

Personally, I'm out of the country and not able to currently see it, so I was curious what the general reactions were.

This is ridiculous. You could search anywhere on the web for that. RottenTomatoes should have been your stop, not a discussion board.

You could search anywhere on the web for it and I looked here (among other places) since I was browsing the forum anyways. I don't think it's totally inconceivable that you would actually use a message board to see what people's opinions on something are.

You serious dude?...sometimes people like to get opinions from Stye Forum believe it or not...and sometimes people just like to read threads about a movie...
