Just throwing this out there, but do you actually need a receipt to get it refinished? Couldn't you just say it was a gift?
I think the only time they will refuse a refinishing request is if they are subs, worse, or altered or something along those lines.

You dont need one, and they will do it as long as you didnt fix it at a shoe repair before (i believe back taps are ok) and they are not overly worn out. P.S. Price of recrafting is going up on Wednesday so if anyone has any get in beforehand
