I've been afraid to cook for him. But some day I'll cook some Filipino adobo for you guys. Maybe we could make it a potluck, and he could bring the stir fry.
This would be awesome. I was afraid to cook for him the first time we cooked together. Then, I realized that it was his house and his guests, and that none of the pressure or the blame was falling on me. [IMG]
Then I got all disappointed when you let work interfere with our Wednesday dinner plans [IMG]
Seems to be a problem of mine.

I forgive you. Work hard, so I can get Big Timer treatment when you own your own place.

Looks like Kwilk handled a wide variety of sausage over the holidays.

pretty good! though I wasn't aware you add bean sprouts with the scallion and hoi sin sauce too- might give that a try next time.

BTW: those things you call Chinese pancakes - down here we call them tortillas. Just sayin' [IMG]

unlike your westernized tortillas, chinese pancakes are of fine texture, almost transluscent, soft to touch and has to be handled delicately.... like the bosom of a young chinese lady.

Matt - that looks fantastic! I posted once before that Chinese food is not typically economical to cook at home due to obscure ingredients, need for intense heat sources and commensurate ventilation, etc.

But DAMN... I'm so jealous that you can do that at home. Well done, sir.

Middle-aged is probably being generous. We could probably count the rings from the trees that inhabit the dense forest that is your chest.

Is that the kind of stuff that you and your guild do on a slow night?
