1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

pretty good! though I wasn't aware you add bean sprouts with the scallion and hoi sin sauce too- might give that a try next time.

BTW: those things you call Chinese pancakes - down here we call them tortillas. Just sayin' [IMG]

unlike your westernized tortillas, chinese pancakes are of fine texture, almost transluscent, soft to touch and has to be handled delicately.... like the bosom of a young chinese lady.

Matt - that looks fantastic! I posted once before that Chinese food is not typically economical to cook at home due to obscure ingredients, need for intense heat sources and commensurate ventilation, etc.

But DAMN... I'm so jealous that you can do that at home. Well done, sir.

Middle-aged is probably being generous. We could probably count the rings from the trees that inhabit the dense forest that is your chest.

    Zing!

That looks great but I dunno about the whole "tying the orificies shut" and letting it hang in my fridge for a while. Where would the nati light go?

It must be from lack of sunlight. The dude's locked up day and night in the basement, and on the rare occasion he does get out, that Canadian sun is so low in the sky that it is barely reaching him.

I think Vitamin D would help this, but you know he doesn't take advice all that well.

Pretty sure g33k really wants to get some Vitamin D but can't come out and admit it to himself yet.

What is this sun you speak of? The only light i ever see is the glow from monitors and stacks of networking equipment.

LOLOL - Mrs. T took a call from a friend who complained that she really needed some Vitamin D. Mrs. T said, oh come to my office, I've got a bottle on my desk. Friend LOL'd and ran over, half-expecting to see dicks in a jar. What this says about my wife's work habits, I can't say.

    Is Mrs. T's friend married?
Does she, perchance, own a liquor store?
