I tried like 5 different military jackets at H&M this week and the stuff wasn't slim fitting at all (more than military surplus though). Good for layering but not exactly what I wanted.
The stuff they had back in March, when minya posted, was probably leftovers from their Fall/Winter stuff of last year. For some reason those jackets really did seem to be cut much slimmer through the body. A lot of their stuff that I've tried on recently has been a little off as far as the fit goes. I'm not really sure why, but I agree: some of their jackets, in particular, seem less slim-fitting than they used to.
