I like how she has posts on the "3 major types of denim." She lists raw, selvage, and organic. Not that any jeans might ever be, well, raw, selvage, and organic...

I need to stop reading this blog.

1.) She writes like a 16 year old gushing teenage girl.

2.) Her opinions are not so far off from one.

3.) She is obviously being paid to advertise a lot of the worthless trash she promotes.

4.) The stylings of her boyfriend/the guys in her "style project" range from averagely medicore to loud/obnoxious douchery (think Affliction, a brand which she apparently loves).

I think what's sad is that a few men actually believe her "advice" to be beneficial just because she is a woman and that there are many more women who share similar opinions.

Not all girls are like this. Just the trashy ones i personally am not interested in. Therefore, i'm not interested in appealing to girls like her with style they would like. That's why i don't care about the "clothes that girls like" threads that pop up here occasionally. Some girls like my clothes, some are indifferent, very view(none that i've met) actively dislike.

I feel the same and while I might be picky in my head, after a few drinks my standards tend to go down... and while it's not the fact that there are girls who actually like terrible styling, it's that guys actually think that a girl like this has good tastes and will follow her advice simply because she's female.

I only feel so strongly about this because recently some girls told me that I should wear baggy pants and dunks. 1000 compliments vs 1 complaint and the complaint stands out more

Ya, guys who are clueless about fashion have no idea that lots of girls are clueless about fashion too, they just spend more time doing **** badly than guys who are clueless do.

Honestly, you just need to quiting thinking about that stuff. If you look good, girls and other people are gonna notice. Brands make it easy for girls who are just glamour magazine armchair fashionistas, but it's not hard to recognize a guy who looks put together, stylish, or whatever. Even with stealth wealth brands, if a guy is stylish there is "something you can't put your finger on" that people can pick up on. More to style than wearing sf approved brands

By the way, this? Seriously? Read what she writes about it.

"This JoS A Bank micro-suede bomber jacket used to be $159.50 but you can have it for $39.99. Now that's what I call "sale of the day". Short zip up bomber jacket with plaid contrast lining inside to keep you warm and stylish at the same time. It's a wind and water resistant kind of jacket.

This short bomber jacket is available in colors Cinnamon, Brown, Olive, Black, Khaki and in various sizes. That prize is unbeatable so if you happen to be looking for a short micro-suede bomber jacket without spending too much money, here you go. Don't let that sale pass you by."

It sounds like she's being paid to advertise.

Looks like a shill. That jacket makes him look FAT and he's probably got a decent build under their somewhere.

Who here has seen the advice on that site. they are actually praising jeans with an ugly cut/wash, covered in diamonds all over and all other sorts of other tacky things such as Ed Hardy, aswell as hating on slim cut jeans just because they dont flatter her body so she doesnt want to see it on anyone else and she actually seems to think shes some style queen or something :S

But if people do follow her advice it makes the rest of us look better in comparison so I don't really mind.

Perhaps if it were zipped correctly that would help. Not sure about the second guy.

I understand the part about how she may be being paid to write what she did, but I was just asking about the fit of the jacket.

I don't even begin to understand how one could think that jacket fits at all. I understand than I prefer slim but the casual wear of many MC posters, which I think is a bit loose, is still fine. However this is just terrible, and I see it all the time. You literally have room to fit another guy in there, it's so large and billowy. I might understand if the guy wearing it had an additional 200 lb. and didn't have enough money to buy more than one jacket but it does nothing more than emphasize the terrible mediocre aspects of the average dresser aka bland AND bad looking.
