When wearing a pocket square, I notice that it often disappears into the pocket totally as the day wears on. How do you keep it from falling?

This sounds like a familiar thread. I believe one of the suggestions was to line the bottom of the pocket with some other thin material, perhaps a cotton/silk handkerchief.

I remember somone suggesting to simply scrunch up a piece of kleenex and drop it in prior to the PS.

What fold are you using? What material and size square? I also find that the size of the pocket varies from jacket to jacket and so I keep squares in varying sizes and weights to accommodate that.

If the square is large enough, it helps to keep the fold in place. More and more, I'm using a plain white handkerchief, squared off. Easier for me. Either that, or I'm eliminating squares altogether.

I often use a gentle double sided tape called "Fashion Tape" that I stumbled upon at my GF's place, she uses it with some dresses she wears so that there is not a "wardrobe malfunction"

I have found many uses for this material over the years including heming a cuff in a pinch.

One of reasons that we started weaving handwoven Thai silk for pocket squares is that the texture of the handwoven silk generally keeps the pocket square from slipping so you don't have to worry about this issue.

Also we use heavy necktie silks such as English woven silks and Atkinsons Irish poplins for sartorially adventurous gentlemen. Again there should be no slipping problem

Thin satin silks while very beautiful can be problematic - although very beautiful.

So beautiful that when time allows we plan on starting to make our own silk prints.

I am not sure if we will use satin or a twill weave silk.
