How the heck do I match these Chelsea boots

I found these Magnanni boots in Cognac

But I'm having problems trying to put together a new outfit. I Found these grey pants from Zachary Prell

But I'm not to sure if it'd work or not.

I got inspired by this outfit from a movie I saw (Girl On The Train)

As for blue shirt I'm not sure. I usually wear light blue or navy, never medium blue.

But I'd rather wear it with black jeans & black shoes.


So what color pants & shirts would work with these cognac boots?

Honestly, I'm debating on it. They're very nice boots but I have a nice pair of brown suede chukka boots. I'm wondering if I should ditch these boots & buy light grey pants & blue/teal/navy shirt to wear with my brown suede chukka boots I rarely get to wear

I think those boots are going to be hard to wear and you'd be better off selling them.
