This is mystifying to me, because I'm similar to the above stats... 38 chest, medium shirts, 30x30, 11.5E shoes...

Yet you're 6'4" 152lbs, and I'm 5'8 172lbs.

How can this be? Am I carrying it all in my butt or something?

Sounds like me. The stress of the last few weeks contributed to me having dropped under 140 lbs (IIRC I am around 5ft.9 - 5ft.10) from my usual around 146-150. My jeans don't fit as comfortably now

almost have you beat, rjakapeanut.

Standing 5'6" I weighed 125 lbs last week. I shot up to 135 lbs until a couple of days ago when it started to go back down and am currently at 132 lbs.

In a month my waist came in from ~29.5 to 28.

The thing that really perplexes me is how my muscles are getting bigger (according to other people) and I'm getting a lot stronger, but I don't gain weight. Last year was even more perplexing and scary. I was getting stronger and losing weight.
