How many changes of clothes do you go thru in one day?

I might be Italian but I dare not attempt the guido look. If I have dinner in a suit then I might want to dress down a little if I'm going to a pub afterward or, worse still, if I am wearing my casual clothes for dinner then I might want to dress up if I'm going for a more formal evening. I suppose the amount of clothing I wear also depends on who it is I'm going out with in the evening, if at all. The more "masculine" friends warrant the jeans and some form of top (and no, it's not amjack) whereas a wonderful Japanese lady might garner the full outfit, tie included.

Like I said, that's on a really good day. I'm off today and have loads of things to do so I see two outfits (including PJs), three tops if I decide to do something tonight.

Typically three changes...sometimes four... 1. Throw-on some clothes for early day activity around the house. 2. Main outfit for the day....for being out and about, as it were. I always make it a point to come up with something a little different each day. What I select to wear will more often than not depend on if there are any new item(s) that I want to try out (Given the extent of my "addiction"...there's almost always some new item...a shirt, a pair of boots or shoes, or a new pair of Nagrani socks).

Deciding on my daily "ensemble" can take time...time that I very much enjoy. I treat it as if it were a hobby (a hobby that has lasted for decades), and it is always one of my favorite daily "activities." And it's something I usually do the night before. We converted one of our bedrooms into a large "closet"... It's not at all unusual for me to spend an hour or longer in that room in the evenings, trying on different outfits/combinations. Once that's been determined I've been known to spend an additional 10-15 minutes (or longer) deciding on the belt, socks, boots or shoes. When you have literally hundreds of everything... this can sometimes take awhile.

3. I usually spend the better part of my evenings in my workshop (when I'm not online)...so after dinner I'll change to a pair of well-worn, heavily stained jeans and workshirt... Knifemaking is almost always very dirty work. 4. If we're going out later in the evening I'll come up from the shop to shower and change....allowing enough time (of course) to decide on the appropriate attire. Which means I'm gonna have some more fun...

What is the obsession with this guido thing on this board? Is it just me, or do certain people jump at the chance to be an asshole. The guy said he changes between dinner and going out, so what?

1) Morning clothes which are usually what I slept in
2) Work clothes
3) Gym attire
4) Sweat pants if I'm at home, or evening clothes if I'm going out

1) Wake up. Old college T-shirt
2) Work clothes
3) Go to sleep. Back to old college t-shirt.

I don't think I have enough clothes for 4 changes of clothes per day, nor would my washing machines hold up to all of that!
