How does one spot a fake Burberry trench?

Can anyone out there in SF share with me their insight/experiences with fake Burberry trenches? What are some of the tell-tale signs of fake Burberrys?

I have an older, authentic Burberry trench (received from a relative). Unfortunately, it no longer fits, so I recently purchased one on Ebay that I just received. The one recently purchased has the older B. tag, and I can't tell for certain if it's a fake, but it is unlike my old trench in every way.

It seems cheaply/poorly made of very thin material (unlike the heavy cotton twill of my old Burberry).

Here is the ended auction, with photos:

I would like to return it to the seller for a refund. If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it!

Fakes have been becoming increasingly common Since Burberry itself started producing fake trench coats in asia a couple of years ago.

I hate to say it, but I was looking at them a few weeks ago at a Burberry Store in DC and the quality just isn't as good. To me, what you have may be real, but I'm afraid the only way to tell is to take it into a store and do a comparison...

It's only funny because it's true.
