1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Agreed. All these people talk about is "Are you running this Saturday?"...

Usually undersexed + masculine looking women, beat up skinny guys. But, let's be real, finishing is one of life's greatest accomplishments...

You can get the younger/college age kids who run their mouth and think their shit rules all.

Only thing worse is straight cyclists. ughhhhhhhhhh.

If you won't shut the fuck up about your bike it better be a Triumph or a Harley.

Bicycling makes no fcking sense to me at all.

I love the hype over the 13.1 distance. Seriously, anyone can run that far....maybe not fast.
The shit that they sell to commemorate your "accomplishment"is insane.
I remember the first one I ran, I was given a rock that had 13.1 etched into it. What am I going to do with a 1/2 marathon rock? I think I used it as a skipping rock with my kids.
Triathletes though, a whole different world of insane dedication and 24/7/365 talk/think/shit the damn thing.
Anyhow, its all better than not running, biking, swiming.
