Hi all,
Forgive me if there is already a thread regarding this matter, I could't find any that weren't focussed on the pursuit of suit-making tailor services.
I'm going to Hong Kong next week and have about 3 jackets I need to have altered professionally.
1 X Cotton un-structured Sports jacket
1 X Wool bomber jacket
1 X Wool suit jacket
Most importantly I need the arms shortened from the shoulder because they have functioning buttons on the cuff, which is a big job. I also need the chest taken in, which is fairly simple .
Can any one recommend a good value alteration service / tailor in Hong Kong ? A company / tailor they have done this with and can recommend?
I have gathered that shortening jacket arms from the shoulder is one of the most complex and expensive processes in tailoring / altering, my alteration service in the UK charge from £70 - £90.
I just think that as I'm in HK, it might be a good idea to get some cheap alterations - does anyone advise against this ?
