It's hot. Linen, madras and oxford. Shirt sleeves are rolled up.

Did not get too many good photos this weekend but here are a few. The first two are from a wedding I attended, however I was too preoccupied with the heat, 107 degrees in an unshaded area of a dusty farm in Northern California for a ceremony is cruel and unusual punishment in my book. The second fit I was trying to see what I felt like in less tapered pants and now I know I do not like it.

Not to be confused with the club owned by Lucifer Morningstar, which doesn't have a "E" on the end.

Brooks Brothers seersucker suit, white PPBD shirt, patchwork Madras tie, and white Irish linen pocket square, Darcy Snake Belt (wonder if I'm the only person in the United States who ordered one from Darcy), and Bass white bucks.

Piece-Of-A-Person picture (at the place we went for dessert) with something they called "Tarte Tatin" but seemed more like apple sauce in aspic.

My sympathies. I went to a black-tie wedding last August. Outside. In Texas. In the afternoon. With the audience facing the sun. I don't know if I've ever seen such an enthusiastic retreat to the cocktail hour.

Out of curiosity, Alocin, have you experimented with jackets with a bit more structure in the shoulders? You've got fairly sloped and rounded shoulders, a bit of stuffing in the jacket might be flattering. (I like your fits a lot as a general matter, it's just struck me a couple times.)

It was brutal, I don't think it dipped below triple digits until about 7:30pm, even in what little shade there was from dead trees the heat would not back down so I am sure we feel one another's pain.

But thank you! This suit is my first really with no padding whatsoever, and my most padded example is a Gieves & Hawkes D'Avenza suit. I haven't quite found a happy medium yet. My downfall is I have fairly broad but large deltoids and sloped shoulders overall, paired with a thin waist so if the jacket waist is too nipped I end up looking like an upside-down triangle, and not in a good way. I am sure I can find something one of these days! Thank you for the input.
