Ironic in light of the recent discussion (most of which I just skipped -- sorry dudes, I'm drowning at work) my photo foo skills have been weak sauce lately. Your polite indulgence is humbly requested, as i have time neither to edit nor color correct. The tie is ancient madder purple and teal. Yes, I know the lighting is horrible.

Then I suppose there's always the Noodles' Shop that has more of a workshop atmosphere, even though I find the addition of the "improving a business wardrobe" subtitle a bit of a turn-off --why the limitations Clags? At least I assume it's you since you are the thread daddy.

I believe the Noodles thread was swept up in the Great Renaming of Threaks to facilitate navigation for noobs or non-diehards. I agree that it's not really about building a business wardrobe, but that was ostensibly the jumping-off point.

What were we saying about style photography, again?

Tira, that's simply my favorite fit of yours ever. I'm out of superlatives.

Welcome, this may not be very helpful or constructive, but my first impression here was that you've posted pictures of yourself wearing an untied tie. Further inspection reveals that it's more likely a small silk scarf, but given my initial impression, you're probably doing something wrong. Not a scarf wearer myself, so I don't pay close attention and cannot offer more assistance in this regard, though I'm sure others can. The only other general observation I'd make is that your photos do not offer enough perspective or distance to be able to provide much feedback on proper fit, if in fact that is desired.
As i answered to a prv message, i am on short vacation and i was out for a coffee-drink with some friends !! A tie would be too formal even for me (generally i dress too formal especially for my country's habits) for a drink with good friends!! yes its a silk scarf !! sorry for the photos i was in a hurry so i did what i could with the phone camera , just wanted to show the combination not the fit!
i promise i ll make up to with tomorrows combo

And to think that this green Camoshita suit sat on our racks for months without anyone giving it a chance... Nice job showing us how it's done Tira ! Great tie too! I think I know where to find it, starting next week ;-p
