Well, I'm out there a-havin' fun in that warm California sun.

Today is my brother's birthday. The last time we had the same cake on his birthday was in 1967.

Went to the Lady M Cake Boutique on Sawtelle Blvd and had a piece of Salted Caramel Mille Crepes Cake.

If my brother goes to any of the Lady M Cake Boutiques in New York City he can have the same cake I had.

Peak Eclipse here was at 11:12am. Took this picture in Stoner Park at 11:12am. This was as eclispical as it got here.

The weather in NYC, after a morning and a midafternoon of rain, has dried out at least enough to obviate the need for an umbrella, though it is still overcast. The temperatures are seasonal, such that one can also do without hat and coat.

Attempting, as always, to rotate through my wardrobe, as much as time, weather, and circumstance permit, I've picked today's suit, which has not seen the light of day in several months, combining it with today's shirt, which hasn't seen usage in a year or more - a factor of being rather old, and having been acquisitive for a very long time.
