For some bizarre reason tourists always take their picture standing in front of, rather than next to, this thing in Beverly Canon Gardens.

Brooks Brothers jacket, Stafford ivory OCBD shirt, Seaward & Stearn tie, Polo Golf Fair Isle sweater vest, Squarextraordinare pocket square, J Crew Brown corduroy trousers, and Allen-Edmonds suede shoes.

While on the subject of bizarre, in some online groups I sometimes get some rather tiresome comments about my one and only facial expression.

Staying the the realm of the bizarre, some iGents get their knickers in a twist when someone wears trousers darker than their jacket. I did this again today. I was out all day today and although my trousers were darker than my jacket nothing evil happened to me.

The only jacket I’ve had made for me is a one-button. It also has single buttons on the sleeves

I recently had a jacket fitting in Hoboken.

Tailor: Two buttons on the cuff?

Me: Yes. One on the front?

Tailor: NO.
I respect a one button jacket. I have definitely used all three buttons on my three button jackets. Usually when the weather conditions turn.
