Just received my S&M MTO custom DB
I'm pleased with how it turned out.
Drago 120's or 130's (can't remember) very soft and light. Ordered unlined for
South Florida weather.

Boring outfit but it comes with a story. Tie is a grenadine from Damiano Presta (Rome). I was browsing his ware when he arrived at the store. My Italian is not great but I can communicate. We start talking. He realizes I am not a complete schmuck and starts to get into really interesting technical details after I ask him a couple of questions about the difficulty of working with grenadine fabric etc. He showed me some of his most eccentric creations that were not on display, going on for a while about the difficulties of his approach. Anyway, after 30 minutes and selecting a couple of ties, he threw a 20% discount just because he fancied our conversation, broken Italian and all. My first expensive tie purchase turned out much better than I hoped for. To this day, his grenadine ties are some of my favorite and will never fall out of favor in my rotation.

Finally, the coordination between braces and tie was accidental but I am happy with how it turned out.

Second outing for the jacket. I think it sits much better with the additional textures as it is a predominantly silk/linen blend with the associated dry'ish handle and texture. Jacket is a steel blue colour. Suede because it is not raining and again wanted to work the less formal textures.

Socks from @Amidé because you would, wouldn't you.

The tie is my latest purchase from @ShayaEXQT made by F. Marino.

Another late summer fit from the end of last week. The brown knitted tie is one of my favourites. It was made a couple of years ago by a young man who was being supported by the Prince’s Trust. That’s all I know about it, but it certainly bears comparison with other knitted ties in my wardrobe, mostly Italian and from established makers.

Back after three weeks vacation. Rather eccentric today. In retrospective, I should've chosen a white shirt and brown shoes, but I was really excited to wear the newly acquired gold museum shoes below.

I love those cufflinks so much.
