Friday shenanigans in one of my favorite patterns, BB #1 stripe. Five pieces total. I also own a necktie in the pattern.

Among your too-many-to-count sport coats, this is one of my favorites. I love the classical 3 roll 2 style and patch and flapped pockets. And the gold buttons nails it. Kinda wish I saw more men in gold or brass buttoned navy blazers these days.

Blue myself. I also figured out a new way to fold my pocket square. I haven’t seen it anywhere before, but maybe it is out there. I’ll share later. I don’t mind the shirt, but think it could be better. I’m coughing on anyone who says wear a white shirt.

I like this a lot. I have a pet hate for those collar tabs, but thats on me.

Just for fun, could you try a burgundy or even red square at some point?

By collar tabs, do you mean the extended throat latch on the collar of the jacket? I love them.

A burgundy or red square with what outfit? This one? I have several burgundy squares. I wore one recently.

Yes, the extended throat tab. I cant stand them...

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I meant a burgundy or red square with the blue outfit I commented on.

Probably not with this outfit. My approach to pockets squares and dressing in general is all about coordination. Probably too much so for most people. I feel I need at least one other burgundy element somewhere in the outfit to justify a burgundy pocket square. I have a few navy ties with burgundy stripes that would work IMO. And probably a *cough, cough* white shirt.

Great combination, shirt is prefectly fine in this context.

Agreed a burg or other contrasting/complementary square could be good here.

I would definitely wear a solid white square with this or a white square with navy border. I feel like a burgundy square in this fit would look like a drop of blood in a pool of water.
