I am glad you didn't deem them tragicomic. Or were too polite to say so. Either way, it is a win.

I think the extreme angles suit my frame, but I would be curious to know what great designers like you think about it if you would like to share your candid opinion.

@bernoulli
The pockets of the jacket are as dramatic as an Italian opera.

I would definitely not reference myself as a "great designer".

The word "tragicomic" never came to my mind. Seriously.

I think the pockets are more on the eccentric side. Quite unusual and surprising to the eye. They add sharpness to the suit. And there is nothing wrong about that, even though I would not wear a jacket like this. But who am I to judge, I wear turquoise linen suits combined with espadrilles.

In general, I like it when people wear what they want (and put some thought into it) and have their own style and not care what other people think about it. As long as people enjoy it and they have a coherent style, go for it.

I’m wearing seersucker until the very end of the summer! The tie adds a summer-y nautical touch. Please excuse the out-of-focus shoe photo.

I’m posting my fits from the last few days.

Suit: Brooks Brothers
Oxford Cloth Button-down Shirt: Brooks Brothers
Necktie: Brooks Brothers
Pocket Square: Etro
Horsebit loafers: Gucci
