I would never, in a million years, know what to do with that tie - but you have nailed it. Looks great.

Today, I'm getting my wrinkle on. I'm also showing Clags a bit of that high button he likes so well.

Thanks! Both the tie and suit were purchased several years ago at the last minute before an out-of-town wedding after realizing that I left my garment bag back in San Francisco. An expensive mistake.

@ Butch- sorry man just not feelin it. Adds pounds to your usually svelte frame. Holdo's on the $s about the suit shoe combo tho.

@ Clags- the force of Foo is strong in u. No shoo love. Makes me sad.
@Mr J- like your casual insouciance. Patterns of shirt, SC and tie look a bit close but with a diff shirt I would rok this.

@DonC- u got a 'Newsreader' going on here. nice up top (altho the tie's a 50-50) but whats with the moccas down low?

I actually was messaging with Stitchy about reading Foo's one shoe thread. But I want multiple pairs of three shoes. He had had multiple pairs of just one, right?

Really interesting relationship between the texture of the jacket and tie. There is an industrial rock pile a few miles from where I live that has these neat piles of minerals each divide into it's constituent materials. The effect is a rainbow of slatey, rocky, stuff sitting in rows according to color. This immediately reminded me of it and I thought it was cool. I don't think I'm convinced about the pink shirt and the red edge to the PS. To me it warms it up a little TOO much. I would have gone with one or the other, but I think I'd favor ditching the shirt.

Auto-focus decided not to work for some reason on the full-length snap. Maybe the camera is becoming sentient, and deciding which fits it likes. Anyway, close-up only today...

FAIK yep. IIRC its a fit discipline with Foo sos to force his focus on the rest of the look. but thats Foo.
Minimum IMO would be #8 cordo blucher, black cap Oxfords, suede boot or bluchers, 2 shades of brown box dress shoes
and then set and forget.

What I am now willing to admit I need is suede. Shame I missed out on HY's sale.

Edit: no loafers!

Well, driving moccs, obviously. But they hardly count.
