Lovin' the timepiece. The gold-plated sword batons and onion crown are desirable details. Vintage, or re-issue?

It's a limited edition piece from around the time of the Bejing Olympics.

Here's a couple of pictures of it:

^ Really nice. (And I was wrong about the batons - they're clearly not gold.)

I imagine the little Gate Of Heavenly Peace logo is a feature of this LE, as it's not normally seen on this brand's watches IIRC.

Personally I would have preferred a cleaner, logo-free dial, but each to his own.

Anyway, sorry about this OT diversion folks. But I just had to pay the man a compliment on his timepiece.

Kai - that is a fine suit - B&R really seems to be working for you. I have to agree with those who said that the PS just has to go, though, and the tie is also rather too satiny for my tastes.

Suit: Beckett & Robb

Shirt: Luxire pique cotton

Pocket square: Zegna (from eHaberdasher)

Tie: Carlo Franco unlined 7 fold.

Watch: Beijing Watch Factory BeiHai

I think you'd greatly benefit from a smaller tie knot, like a 4ih.

I love the navy grenadine tie, and the spread on the collar.  May I ask who made the well-fitting suit?  I think this is a good example, by the way, of how jetted pockets have a slimming, streamlined look.

Thanks. Suit was supplied. There are pocket flaps, I'm just generally not so fond of them.

Put on some weight :embar:
Is this suit too tight to wear now or still (just) doable? Plan to loose approx. 5kg.
(This isn't an outfit, just want your opinion the suit's fit)

With 5 kg down you should be good to go. I presume the extra saddle bag is mostly around the midrift

Today is the debut of yet another MTM shirt from Brooks, which I've combined with a suit from Paul Stuart which I've not worn in a year - well overdue its airing.

Suit - Paul Stuart
Shirt - Brooks MTM
Tie & collar pin - BB
Cufflinks - Simon Carter, via Fortnum & Mason, London
Braces - Lewin
Shoes - Finsbury, Paris

This is a contrast collar done well!

Today; same jacket and trousers as yesterday!

Not sure about the tie. Opinions?

I agree. Although, it's less 'in your face' bright IRL!
