Today's fit. Spring has apparently exploded onto my fit.

Deets: Samuelsohn Eton, it's pink houndstooth, sorry about the white balance vintage untipped tie, it's blue on blue, again, sorry Unknown sq, Trafalgar belt Florsheim Royal Imperials In other news, I did a rigorous regression analysis with multiple Taylor polynomials and Monte Carlo modeling analysis. It turns out I can establish, to a scientific degree of certainty, that exactly ZERO ***** were given today.

Austin Reed PoW suit Belisario MTM shirt Vanda raw silk tie Drake's PS Edward Green Dover (yes I wore derbies with a suit :) )
Nice shoes!

I don't think the light tie works with this, Ian. Probably not enough contrast between jacket and trousers, too, at least judging by the picture.

Spring is finally here in Vienna!
I hope you'll consider a roomier, longer trouser for your next suit. Otherwise, very nice.

Friday nite date nite...but my girlfriend was busy, so I decided to take the wife out. My god those pants are way too long, and the left looks longer than the right! I swear they didn't look that bad when I put them on; taking them to tailor this week to remedy. The shirt is actually a very bright green/white stripe, best representation is in the wrist shot. I need to get better at dressing as well as photography. Yes, once i saw the scuff in my shoes (in the pic) i polished them. I am trying to learn here, I appreciate input. I know this needs work, but not quite sure where. Socks too matchy? PS--I am still quite new here, but I feel I can be honest with this group. I'm gonna say about a half a dozen ***** were given this evening.

Overly open quarters and slight x at the buttoning point due to a small balance problem on the jacket, I hope I can get that sorted out because other than that I'm pretty happy with it.

For some reason those lapels remind me of this:

It looks great on you though!

I would go a bit too wide over a bit too narrow any day. Find it flattering for me as well

I just wish the points were not as rounded. And I think a higher gorge could be even more flattering.

I wouldn't be able to pull off such wide lapels, but it does seem to suit you quite well. Indeed, the jacket would look perfect with a slightly higher gorge and without the rounded points!

You should really look into ordering your next jacket in this colour though, would be perfect for the peacock thread:

Lapels are not that wide, just 10 cm. I'm just a short mofo. They work because what you don't see in my pics is a rather large head
