@Cantabrigian: Already said this in the Good Taste thread, but that's a great outfit. Love all the texture.

This is great. Especially love the overcoat--deets?

Thanks guys!

The shirt has been made by Vincenzo Prisco.
Tie is E.G. Cappelli, square from Rubinacci.

Very good. Only nitpick is that I'm not a fan of the narrow, Cucinelli-esque overlap and that I would prefer the hip pockets flapped.

Everything is perfect! May I ask where you bought the socks?

they are bresciani. no idea where he got them though.

I'm kind of the anti-Spoo today.
Not seen navy pindot accent socks and G&G Hove in dark brown.

In the shade, the trousers and blazer look somewhat similar. But each has a good deal of texture - 4ply hopsack blazer and fresco trousers - so neither looks like an orphaned suit piece. And in the sunlight, the flecks of white in the trousers are very different from the much more matte jacket.

PIC REVIVAL!!!! lol

Hooray!

From Friday. I hate anybody who doesn't look like **** at the end of the week. Also I got a haircut as soon as I saw how badly I needed one.

Indeed it is. I've got 5 that I'm very happy with. I sort of wish they were a bit wider, but that's my only complaint.

I agree whole heartedly. I have a gray and two navy's with a third on its way (and another gray, but it looks like an orphaned suit jacket). When I joined SF all I had were solid suits (with an odd pin stripe or herringbone), so my knee jerk reaction was to purchase non-solid sport coats. Now I've figured out what I like (and what I like are solids). I think the only exception I'll be making as far as non-solid SC's will be for British tailoring from the 1960's (that jacket is 1967 Chester Barrie)

My attem at trying to make the weather warmer! Thoughts? Sorry about the quality of first image - photobucket being rubbish.

I don't understand the logic of an incredibly fussy white French cuff shirt, no tie, pocket square, pin striped coat, woven belt, etc. But even if I could get over all that, I don't think I could ever accept the method of rolling the outfit up in a ball, putting it in a sack, and sitting on it for several hours, in lieu of the more common approach of laundry and pressing.
