Hey guys, this is my first post in here. This is my career/day job interview getup. This is also my first new suit purchase, and the first suit I've owned in ten years. I purchased this about a year ago and now I'm beginning to think the pants are a little baggy. I'm going for a conservative look, but still reasonably modern. All comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

**edit: I just noticed this thread says "HOF" at the top and I don't know what that means... let me know if this isn't the proper spot for this post.

I never, ever wear collar stays. Sometimes the plastic ones that come with the shirt, thats it.

me, too. I actually prefer slightly outward curved collar points, resting underneath the lapel over a perfectly straight collar.

Spoo, the greens in the windowpane and square are working together. The tie is fighting them a bit, though. But, dayum, that green windowpane is kickin'. :slayer:

Here's my confusion, though: Any time I omit the stay, my collar ends up looking like the flying nun by the end of the day -- with the collar itself going concave rather than convex, and the tips lifting from the shirt. And, yes, even on "decent" (i.e., canvased) shirts. Drives me insane.

BTW, killer fit, Spoo. Again.

Nothing big, but I'd been wanting to try this tie for ages. Finally wore it yesterday for no particular reason. Wind up taking my photo for our law journal photo board that day and now I'm going to use this as my profile pic on Facebook, that tie will sure get publicity. :p
