Awesome peacock suit, DerekS. If it was double-breasted you would have been ascended to Olympus. [IMG]

    Wow! [IMG]
    Awesome jacket, Hal! [IMG]

I just bought a thrift plaid jacket that's cool like yours but it has three very small holes on the right sleeve. One is in front and is noticeable. I'm hoping it's possible to get them repaired in some way. It only cost $3.50 but fits me like a glove so it's worth it to me to try to get it fixed. Since you get a lot of second hand clothing I thought you would know about this.

Suit: BB (grey or olive in color? You tell me)
Shirt: Ike Behar (hard to see in pic, but there is a very faint pale blue stripe in shirt weave, so faint it's almost a solid)
    Tie: Zegna
    PS: Boss

I would. But I'm not required to wear coat and tie to work, so there's full style freedom. Wondering if Derek is in the same boat [IMG]

When you wear a suit like that, it's bidness, not business. :satisfied:

Thought I'd share this story. Wore the same jacket with cream colored button-down shirt, Brunelli cotton pants, and brown Gravatti shoes (per Masterclasser's suggestions) to the Press club in San Francisco last night, and I'm in the bathroom peeing, literally midstream, when this guy in the bathroom (who I guess followed me in) asks whether he could borrow the jacket and leave with it and join his friends, because the jacket had been such an object of attention. I, of course, said yes but pointed out it would be easier for me if I finished peeing first. Now, I had just met a couple of girls there, and it can always be misinterpreted, especially in San Francisco, if some guy follows you into the bathroom and leaves after a few minutes wearing your clothes. Long story short, he wore that jacket and pictures were taken by his friends, and I'm not sure if my explanation was completely satisfactory to the girls (especially in San Francisco). Now, the wierd thing is that I've worn the jacket out four times, and on two of those occsaions, I've had guys come up to me and ask to borrow this jacket so they can take pictures with them in it. Wierd.

And did you get the jacket back?

Guys do tend to make comments/compliments about your clothes in the bathroom if they are going to do that.

Gracias! Ties are by far my favorite part of my wardrobe.

This tie is a silk linen blend from Howard Yount.

It does cross my mind that getting my jacket back could be difficult. On the other hand, perhaps Pendleton could start a whole new line of " ice-breakers for the bathroom" men's clothing.
