First post in this thread and one of my more adventuresome outfits. The camera didn't quite get the colors right.

good lord, aw82, do those socks have batteries in them?
Ha. They are bright, but not quite as neon in real life. I'm getting ****** handed to me in the good taste thread over the same pictures :)

That tie is at least 5 years old, probably older. I haven't paid enough attention to notice a broad deterioration in RLPL tie quality since then, but have certainly noticed that I haven't even been remotely tempted by a tie from them over about the same time frame.

Continuing light tie experiments:

Holdfast, imo that outfit have been great if you had dropped tie and PS and paired the SC with an OCBD shirt.
I think loafers, odd pants and SC have a casual vibe which clashes with the style of the shirt and the tie.

MrChirs, the top is lovely but the pants need hemming and I strongly dislike those plastic weather protection slippers.
If the weather is bad I'd either go for a boot with Dainite sole or a pair of beaters, the plastic just ruins the whole outfit.

I left home without a jacket and bought this one today. Looks mid grey but it's actually a quite pleasant blue. It's pretty hot to wear it but I put it on for the pics

Shoulders and shirt collar look awkward due to self-photo difficulties, but this coat actually fits pretty well for RTW.

New sportcoat, shirt + tie. There really is quite some contrast between the SC and pants, but it doesn't really show here.

My first contribution in quite some time...

I really like this, but I for one prefer contrasting rubber overshoes. at least in a colour, that makes it clear, that it's not actually part of the shoe.

I wear k-razzyyy bright red

Sloppy work. It's pretty clear that you spent more time fluffing your tie boner than you did tying the knot.
