(Just kidding. But the resemblance is pretty striking.)

Overall, I think it works pretty well, though a belt ought to be avoided when wearing a vest. Maybe some people will think it looks too old-timey or affected, but as long as you can pull it off...

. . . and now everyone is capitalist, so I come to America, to live good life - where is Champagne and cognac . . .? As for belt vs. suspenders, yes, I prefer my three-piece suits with brace buttons, but somehow failed to get them sewn into the trousers to this ensemble. Another project for 2011 . . . As for old-timey or affected - I EMBRACE them both!

As much as I like AAAC (and it is more age-appropriate for me over there), WAYWT is getting rather lonely, with you lot posting over here, and thanks for the compliment, CG.

"Luke, give in to the dark side . . . I am your FATHER".

(Sorry - I couldn't resist the movie reference.)

Great to see you over here, RG, and thanks.

I'd upgrade those jeans... immediately. At a bare minimum I'd get the bottom of the legs tapered, but honestly, I'd recommend upgrading to APC New Standards because those don't fit well at all.

Way to break the rules! This looks great, even with the striped pants.
