I like the idea, and the suit fit is excellent apart from the cuff length, but that is not a good type of shirt to wear tie-less. Add a tie, or substitute in a non-contrast shirt with an appropriately strong collar, and this would be a great fit.

thanks gnatty - its a 20 oz windowpane tweed number i had had for a few years ... made by a tailor in Ghana. Recently got tweaked up in the body and legs of the pants by European Alterations in Peachtree Battle (they do a great job). I figured i'd wear it since yesterday and today are one of the few days i could justify it with the weight.
