no, they look sort of cheapish with the ultra thin soles...

Vintage Haspel suit, Ben Sherman shirt, vintage tie and vintage Florsheim Imperial gunboats in shell.

Have a good one.

Definitely one of the best I've seen here. The weather looks vicious though.

Thanks! Weather is worse today as TD5 actually got its act together early this am and has tightened up into a solid TD. Never count out a storm in the Gulf!

Much thank HF and MBreinin.
HF, you are so right. Did not realize it until you pointed it out.
Mike, really liking that Southern flair you been sporting of late.

Y'all can always count on me to break up the endless and predictable ennui of knit ties, plaid jackets, and fluffed pocket squares.

Great color. I think a poofier pocket square is in order - the sliver of mad-men fold is the only thing that doesn't go with the outfit IMO.

Ah. So, it's complicated and frightening?

When we meet - and I'm sure we will one day - I will listen to it enraptured, sat by a campfire and staining my nice ensemble with melted marshmallow

Today's suit receives no quibbling from me, by the way

What I like about this shantung Drakes tie is that all who have posted theirs own a different colour. Well, except Toiletduck, who has the same as yours. And indecisive, old Vox, who owns them all

^^^^^ I like the SC quite a bit.

Pants look like jeans and I think the slim fit detracts from the overall look. Please wear a tie, it would do wonders.

Thank's!
I'd love to wear tie every day, but since barely anybody in my company with exception for top managers wear tie and most collegues wear jeans and t-shirt, it kind of makes me feel out of place if I'd use a tie every day.
I wear one when attending customer meetings and at other more special occasions.

Btw the pants are navy chinos.

Good call. I do have other glasses, so I'll keep that in mind.
