I recently started a new job, and have to pick up an extra suit or two. The problem is, I'm currently in a semi-remote location with little to choose from locally. I purchased this one on Ebay, but am concerned that the shoulders are a little too wide (most other things, I assume, can be fixed with a good tailor.)

I'm 5'11, 155 lbs, and have a slim build. The shoulders on this jacket measure 18.5, but I suspect that I'm more of an 18, if not smaller.

Any thoughts and/or suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

(and sorry about the poor image quality -- it's the best I could manage)

Seems to fit reasonably well. A bit of tailoring should make it perfect. And you could dramatically improve the image quality by just washing the mirror.

It's hard to tell, but it seems okay. If the shoulders are too wide, it looks like there is sufficient shoulder padding that it will work okay. If you get a suit with softer shoulders you will want to be more careful about purchasing the correct shoulder width. BTW, a tailor can remove the sleeves, narrow the shoulders, and re-attach the sleeves. Whether it is worth the $ to have it done is another question.
