When it comes to clothing choices and details it helps to imagine yourself as your own wardrobe consultant for a film, maybe even the film of your life. If you were watching a film and your character walked in wearing whatever it is you think you'd like to put on a jacket etc, would it convey the message to the audience that you wanted?

I'm having hacking and a ticket pocket on my sportscoat. It can be an interesting look and I wanted such a jacket. I don't have many suits so I wouldn't put them on a suit, but if you really like them then I say go for it. I see a lot of these things as preferences, so even if I wouldn't choose a certain detail for myself, I can still appreciate the diversification.

I have seen a few great hacking pockets but the angle used was minimal...
I have seen a few examples of hacking + ticket pocket on worsted suit but they didn't look natural, kind of forced..
