IMO, these are some of the finest shirts that one can own. High quality construction and some of the nicest woven cotton I have seen. I absolutely love these shirts.

The ones on Yoox are disgusting. Darted backs and blend fabrics like Theory would use. Yuck.

Darts look effeminate and out of place unless you are wearing it to a club or something.

I have a light blue, undarted shirt that is much more traditional italian dress shirt. Reminds me of a good Neopolitan shirt makers, quality is quite high. I have the intermediate fit and shoulders and chest fit quite well, not super slim as a fashionable sports shirt, but that kind of fit is usally what I look to avoid when I buy good dress shirts.

Thank you,

is this a fact? i have never heard this...i was about to dart one of my shirts this week, because darting is considerably easier than taking in the sides...

i have zara shirts, and h&m shirts that are darted, so...i guess, where did you hear this?

thanks for the advice

No it's not a fact but the opinion of a guy who doesn't have much of a drop between his shoulders/chest and his waist. Buy what looks good on you and try darts on one shirt to see if it's something you'd like. If not, it's not the end of the world.

He's a former body builder that wears dockers and non-iron shirts. Who do you think you are??

Just a guy with balls and darts. BTW, how is it possible to find so many current and former body builders in one place? Sometimes I feel like I wandered in to Gold's Gym.

Start with a lax definition of what a body builder is and then add an internet fudge factor. The same goes for "slim."

I would really like for you to reconsider the balls (the ones on your shirts, not the ones you see when you "wander" around Gold's Gym). Please.

I am not sure where this idea of darts being effeminate comes from. Darts can be done in a variety of ways. Here is a shirt with darts on a no pleat shirt:

The darts are about 4 inches on each side.

Here is an example of darting on a side pleat shirt:

The pleats start at the bottom of the vent and extend the full length of the shirt.

I don't know if it can be seen, but on each shirt the darts are barely noticable, if that is a concern.
What is noticable is the lack of extra material around my waist, and I think makes the shirt look better on my non body builder physique.

Perhaps the thought of darts conjures images like this with darts in the front:

I don't have any like this, but I don't think my lack of experience is any indication of inherent effeminacy.

Also, I have no experience with the OP's original request.
