Do the Field Boots have a celastic toebox?

Yes. They look like a moccasin boot but don't feel anything like one.

@manowar Exactly! I like them both as well. Now that I have my size narrowed down, I can choose freely between both and I know exactly what to expect. Both boots utilize the Floyd last.

There will be minor variations in fit depending on the pattern and leathers used. In my very small sample size I found the Field Boots to be a little roomier than the Brass Boots, especially around the ankle. This is by design though, as the looser unlined shaft is flexible enough to allow more ankle mobility.

I hate to say it, but for my 2 cents, the field boot is one ugly boot. I'm happy for those that like it, but I couldn't see it having a place in my closet.
Fair enough. I'm a different kind of guy. I have scars like Kudu and can fix almost anything under the sun. Not everyone's the same, but I respect your opinion.
Enough about what you don't like, what IS more your style and in what leather? If you don't mind me asking.

Case and point. For some reason I can't get on board with the Ottawa. I think your boots are awesome for you! Just not my cup of tea. Looks like great weather! Enjoy
Thanks. They do say about NST designs that you hate it until you start loving it, which was exactly what happened to me 😆 you never know!

I just can’t stand the look of wedge soles period. Even a vibram 100 would look better

I like the Diesel boot, the Ottawa boot, I don't like things that look like they are RedWing work boots. Sh or or CXL in leathers

Do folks just come on here to comment about what they don't like?
I get the positive sentiment in your posts. Please - Don’t stop. But, the above is just focusing on 2 or 3 recent posts.

I am an intense lurker here. And I’d say 90+% of the posts are commenting about what people LIKE vs. what they dislike.
