Does anybody have some waxed tobacco Edward pics they would like to share? I think those may be my next pair.

Can I ask size advice here? I'm looking to get a first pair of GS's but the model I want is on sale and out of some sizes. I'm an 11.5 D in Red Wing and most things but my feet are slightly on the wide side (or more so high arch) so sometimes have to go 12 in sneakers.

Which is a better bet, 11 D or 11.5 D? (the Es are sold out.)

Everybody here will tell you that Grant Stone's customer service is outstanding, and they're especially good at giving sizing advice (better than us here on the forum ;)).

Shoot them a mail: [email protected]

Could one simply re-wax and make new again?
I think GS recommends either VSC or dubbin wax. I have used VSC to spot treat some areas and it worked very well to bring back the original look. I think an actual wax product would work even better, but I have no experience with that.

IMO, the befores of all these worn in WCs, as well as the poster’s above, look way better then the rewaxed afters. If it was to make the boot more water resistant, I can maybe see it. Even then, I’d be disappointed to lose that badass look just to able to wear in wet weather. I‘d just wear a different boot on that day, ha.

I have Brass natural WCs and, while I love them, I don’t think the eventual patina will be as cool as the Tobaccos. Still cool, but not AS cool...
