Hi guys I need a bit of advice. I am based in Europe and I want to sell my Edward Maduro Shells and my Diesel Saddle Tans which I just do not enjoy wearing due to the bulk and stiffness. Where is the best place to sell them. Grailed?

I know I will only likely get back max half of my outlay but I just want them out of my life.

here's the link to the BST thread: Grant Stone Buy/Sell/Trade

First wear of saddle tan diesels. Begining to warm up to plain toe boots. This is my first and only pair and really comfortable ones at that .

Did you add a toppy? Mine came leather soled but they are several years old now. Did they change?
Yes I did add a topy. The saddle tan diesels still come with a leather sole. I walk a lot on asphalt and concrete which chews up leather soles very quickly and so a rubber half sole is useful for me.

These are the only photos I've been able to find with a half-lug commando sole and dovetail combo heel. Thanks @basu13, looks great!

Guys,
I just received my first pair of GS- Traveler penny loafer and bourbon suede. I went down a half a size as suggested on their website. Overall, the shoe fits fine in the length and heel. However, the instep is quite snug. Is this normal for this model? Can I expect it to loosen with wear? Thanks
Hi sammy, it’s been a couple of weeks, how is the instep now? I just got my first pair of Travelers yesterday and have the same experience. Length and heel just perfect, with a snug instep, not painful, but a nice firm “grip”. I think I’d prefer that over a looser grip. Not sure if I’d want to go wider because I have plenty of room in the toe box as it is. I also went a half size down from sneaker size plus a size wider. I’m normally a 12 sneaker with a width on the D-E border. Per GS recommendation, I ordered an 11.5E.

Hey fellas,

Lurker here posting with a question regarding my Diesel boots.

I've had these boots for over a year and a half. Incredible quality, beautiful look and feel, however they are unquestionably the most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn. More specifically I've found the footbed to be very unforgiving, like I'm standing/walking on wood planks all day. I thought that maybe it would take a few months for them to soften and form to my foot; this hasn't proven true.

Has anyone else had this issue? I'm actually surprised so many find these boots to be so comfortable, and I've felt a bit irked that these $380 boots now just sit in my closet collecting dust. I've tried adding softer insoles though even the thinnest ones cause the boot to fit far too tight.

What are my options here? Is it worth reaching out to GS? Should I find a different boot in their lineup? Or should I sell these things and seek a different bootmaker?

Let me know you thoughts 🤙
