Getting an SC made from window drapes

We know Don Cherry has his absurdly loud jackets made from window drape material. Someone here posted a documentary which had him shopping for cloth. I'd like to get something similar made up and I'm wondering if it's something any tailor could deal with, or if there are any types of window drape cloth that would work better than others.

I could get that done for under $200 around here, I don't need it to be great. This will just be cheap stage wear, pretty much. I'm not joking at all, I play in several bands and love ridiculous attention whore clothing. As evidence, here's a jacket from a suit that I splattered with bleach and wood stain, but it's just not loud enough! Needs to be more colorful to really pop under stage lights.
